Jonas is just trying to survive his last year in high school. He enjoys skateboarding with his sister and trying (and failing) to avoid Mitch, his bully. Jonas Wagner is the residential nerd who loves Pokemon and science.

history

Jonas and his twin sister Sidney were abandoned by their parents when they were really young (they don't really have any memory of them). since then, they've been in the foster care system and were later adopted by Dean and Sue Wagner.

he's homeschooled until he reaches middle school.

he's paired with Mitch for a class project senior year. they eventually acquire super powers (telekinesis for Mitch, light projection for Jonas) after trespassing on a research site.

powers

  • creates shapes and whisps of light, usually from his hands (but it can also be emitted from anywhere on him or in close proximity)
  • can form protective force-fields around himself
  • looks like long exposure photography stuff basically
  • eventually learns how to harness and project it as a weapon, controlling its intensity to slice through objects
  • the light can be any bright color
  • before he learns how to control it, it's very emotion-based. like sparking little auras of light when he's embarrassed or angry or something
  • leaves long light trails when he skateboards
  • doesn't have much confidence in his powers, so he is slow to develop them
