Description

An infamous asshole who recently transferred back to Sellwood High after moving away for 2 years. His borderline obsessive antagonizing of Jonas is the result of a secret crush he has yet to figure out how to handle. Mitch is the bully everyone hates, owns a pet mammal of some kind, and he's got a lot of problems to work over.

history

abused as a child by stepdad growing up. at some point when he's like 15, his drunk stepdad hits his mom and mitch gets pissed off and gets in a fight with him. he ends up stabbing his stepdad with a switchblade and almost killing him, and gets a few months in juvenile detention. his mom leaves his stepdad, and they move to a different state as an attempt to start fresh. they mostly live in her car.

when he's 19, his mom gets arrested for drug possession. he moves back to his hometown and mitch re-enrolls in his old high school after being absent for a couple years. there's rumors going around about him, thinking he killed his stepdad  and is mostly avoided. he uses the fear to his advantage and actively intimidates both students and teachers and gets into trouble frequently. sells drugs to students.

he's paired with Jonas for a class project senior year after returning to school. they eventually acquire super powers (telekinesis for Mitch, light projection for Jonas) after trespassing on a research site.

  • has occasional panic attacks in high stress situations and can get violent if not calmed down quickly
  • shows symptoms of PTSD; very sensitive to adult men making sudden movements or threatening gestures due to history with stepdad. will immedietly go into fight mode with little warning
  • can become enraged at the drop of a hat (punching walls, flipping tables etc)
  • eating disorder; doesn't like eating in front of people, makes himself throw up frequently. will deny it
